This is a shroud which protects the padlock from vandalism and attempted theft and is designed to hold the high security CISA 285-75 C section padlock within the shroud.

This is achieved by the use of a simple sliding carriage inside the shroud which allows full use of the padlock while protecting it from theft or loss (and keeps it off the ground). See our Contain-A-Lock and container accessories pages for more information.
