On 5th September 2021, one of our Fabricators, Andy Buckland took part in The Wolf Run to raise money for the James Brindley Foundation.
The 10k off-road run is a real challenge and features a series of man-made and natural obstacles throughout the course for runners to tackle. The run is a huge physical and mental challenge, so a big congratulations is in order for everyone who took part.
The James Brindley Foundation was set up in honour of James Brindley, who was killed in an unprovoked knife attack when walking home alone in Aldridge. In memory of James, his family created the foundation with the aim to protect and support young people at risk of engaging in youth violence and knife crime.
Andy completed the race in 1 hour 10 minutes and raised £155.00 for the James Brindley Foundation. S Jones Containers donated an additional £150 to support the charity.
Andy commented: “It was a great team-spirited day spent amongst other old friends of James and his family, whilst also raising money for a great cause.”
