This position, based at our Midlands shipping container depot in Aldridge, Walsall is working for an established family business that has an excellent reputation both in its local area and within the shipping container industry. The company has traded within the UK shipping container marketplace since its inception in the 70s and continues to thrive with depots now all around the country. S Jones Containers are a market-leading brand in the world of shipping containers offering sales, hire, bespoke conversions, depot services, and self-storage.

Following a phenomenal financial year which saw significant growth the company now needs further administrative support for the Sales and Hire department.

This exciting opportunity will give the successful candidate the chance to use their exceptional skills in organisation, communication, documentation and administration to be rewarded with an excellent basic salary.

You would be joining a very successful business, contributing significantly to its ongoing expansion through your naturally organised, efficient and reliable approach whilst also gaining the opportunity to grow your own skills.

The Role

  • To be part of the successful support core of this market-leading brand, carrying forward the quality of relationships that has come to be expected from such a well-respected business.
  • Support the Sales team in exceeding customer expectations through careful organisation and administration of invoicing, taking payment, arranging delivery/collection of containers including preparation of documentation and liaising with customers, suppliers and other areas of the company.
  • To accurately and effectively update all systems and organise required works to be carried out in a timely manner.
  • To effectively deal with telephone calls and email enquiries.

  • Enthusiasm, a good attitude, and a strong work ethic are key for this role.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to keep multiple projects moving forwards.
  • Process driven and accurate but with the ability to move from process to process as priorities change without losing track.

Skills

  • IT Literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with attention to detail.

Salary: £24,200
