We designed and delivered a bespoke modular reception building for ChipsAway, providing a light, welcoming space with customer W/C facilities at their Kidderminster car care centre.
Working closely with the client, our modular team explored different building options before developing a solution that balanced appearance, comfort, and practicality.
ChipsAway is the UK’s leading specialist in minor car body repairs, operating a nationwide network of professionally trained technicians and car care centres. The business delivers high-quality, cost-effective repairs with a strong focus on customer experience. After finding us online, they got in touch with our team to explore whether we could supply a practical and welcoming facility that would reflect their professional standards while supporting day-to-day operations.
ChipsAway had a requirement for a new light and airy reception with customer W/C to be located at their car care centre in Kidderminster. After their initial email enquiry, our modular team got in touch to discuss a couple of options for the reception building.
After the call, a visit to the S Jones Containers offices was arranged to view the options available; standard shipping containers and modular ‘Containex’ units. It was decided that a 20ft x 8ft ‘Containex’ unit would be the ideal solution. A few designs were put together. It took a little tweaking, but the perfect design was achieved that fitted the brief just right.
Once the unit was in place, it was wrapped to display the ChipsAway brand and furniture was installed. We think it looks pretty smart!
