20ft containers have an internal length of 19ft 3”, width of 7ft 7” and height of 7ft 9”. They can roughly hold the contents of an average-to-large 3 bedroom house, making them a popular and convenient choice for self storage facilities and other applications.
How much space do I need for a 20ft container delivery?
The minimum width requirement for a 20ft container delivery is 15ft to access the site and 24ft for offloading (plus the width of the unit itself). However, this will depend on the reach required by the crane to successfully deliver a container to your unique site. Our containers are offloaded to the side of the delivery vehicle. It’s important that we have considered the amount of space you need for delivery, so please contact our friendly team with any relevant photos, videos and dimensions. We’ll be happy to devise a delivery plan for your 20ft unit.
