A new shipping container is also known as a single-trip or one-way shipper. It is manufactured overseas, loaded with cargo once to travel to the UK, and then sold as a new container. It will be in an excellent structural condition, with only very light handling marks from that initial journey.
A used shipping container, by comparison, has normally been in worldwide shipping use for 10–15 years and will typically show areas of surface rust, dents, and scuffing externally and internally.

We deliver across Great Britain using crane-equipped HIAB lorries that lift and position the container directly onto prepared ground. Before delivery, we confirm access, space and positioning so you know exactly what to expect on the day.
A 20ft container usually suits general storage or construction use. A 10ft works well for tight sites, cafés, kiosks or small business storage. A 40ft or high-cube container is best when you need maximum capacity, such as for warehousing, tools, equipment or stock overflow. A new or single-trip shipping container is manufactured overseas and used once to transport cargo to the UK before being sold. This means containers are never truly brand-new; they may have light marks from that journey, and because stock moves across Great Britain, the exact appearance can vary slightly upon delivery. However, they remain in excellent structural condition and are the closest you can get to new.
