We’re excited to announce our first appearance at Cereals 2026. Taking place on 10th – 11th June at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, the event is expected to attract more than 25,000 farmers and agricultural professionals.

You’ll find us on Stand 1327, where we’ll be showcasing how shipping containers can support modern farming operations. From container sales and hire to dedicated workspaces, welfare facilities and external self storage diversification projects, visitors will have the opportunity to speak with Head of Sales Glen Wills, Business Development Manager Laura Armitt, and Hire Specialists Elisha Ramsey and Jamie Povey.

Alongside our standard container conversions, Head of Conversions Andy Nicholls will be available to discuss specialist containerised enclosures for machinery and equipment, including lithium-ion battery-powered assets, that require safe and secure storage and charging solutions.

Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to explore a double-stacked container display. The lower level features a 20ft side-opening container divided into two sections: one showcasing a standard container in its original form, and the other fitted with a melamine-lined interior commonly used for site accommodation. Above it sits a topper unit, an increasingly popular solution that enables self storage operators to increase storage capacity without expanding their land footprint.

To discover the full range of solutions on offer and learn how containers can work for you, read on for a concise overview of the many ways these versatile structures can add value to your business.

Shipping Container Sales and Hire for Farms

Shipping containers remain one of the most practical storage solutions for the agricultural sector, providing secure, weatherproof space for machinery, tools, feed, seed, chemicals and seasonal equipment.

At Cereals 2026, visitors can learn more about our range of containers available for sale and hire, from compact 8ft units through to 40ft containers. Specialist options include high-cube containers for taller equipment and side-opening containers for improved loading and forklift access.

For more specific requirements, containers can be customised with features such as roller shutter doors, personnel access doors, insulation, lighting, electrics, ventilation and HVAC systems, creating purpose-built facilities tailored to your operational needs.

For seasonal demands such as harvest, planting and temporary projects, our hire service offers flexible short- and long-term storage without the commitment of purchasing. Refrigerated containers are also available to provide temperature-controlled storage for produce during busy periods.

Container Conversions for Agriculture and Agri-tech

Agriculture continues to evolve, with growing investment in battery-powered equipment, renewable energy systems, autonomous machinery and agri-tech. As a result, demand for specialist container conversions is increasing rapidly.

Our award-winning conversions team, recognised in multiple industry awards last year for innovation, designs and manufactures bespoke containerised solutions for a range of technical applications, including lithium-ion battery storage. Our battery stores are tailored to different battery types, capacities and risk profiles, helping businesses store energy safely and compliantly.

Beyond battery storage, container conversions also support a wide range of operational, research and innovation needs. We manufacture specialist enclosures for generators, compressors, pumps and boilers, alongside bespoke facilities ranging from containerised laboratories to fully operational vertical farming systems. This demonstrates the versatility of shipping containers when combined with engineering expertise.

Across the rural sector, containers are also being used for far more than secure storage. They are creating retail spaces, offices, visitor facilities and operational buildings that support entirely new business activities. As more farms look to make better use of their land, buildings and existing infrastructure, containers are opening up opportunities that many businesses may not previously have considered.

Farm shops continue to grow in popularity, and many businesses are expanding retail operations to increase direct sales. Others are introducing cafés, visitor experiences, ticket offices or facilities linked to holiday accommodation and tourism activities. Workshop spaces for machinery maintenance, practical training facilities and business units for local trades are also becoming increasingly common.

Welfare Units, Offices and Agricultural Workspaces

Many farming businesses require flexible facilities that can be deployed quickly and adapted as operational needs change. We design and supply container-based offices, canteens, changing rooms, drying rooms, chemical stores, toilets and welfare facilities, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional construction.

Demand is also growing across agritech, crop research and sustainable farming for containerised laboratories and testing environments. These can be tailored to precise requirements while retaining the flexibility to relocate as projects evolve. Using our in-house CAD design capability, customers can also visualise and refine their conversion in full 3D before manufacturing begins.

Extending Container Life with ClearRestore®

Many farms have relied on shipping containers for decades. While containers are built to last, years of exposure to the elements can leave them looking faded and tired.

Our ClearRestore® service is designed to restore the appearance of weathered containers without the cost and disruption of repainting or replacement. Applied on-site, the treatment revives faded surfaces while providing long-term UV protection backed by a five-year guarantee.

For farms operating multiple containers, bulk restoration options are available, helping to refresh entire fleets while benefiting from reduced costs.
