GoBoat is a canal boat rental company who offer self-drive boating experiences throughout London.
The Challenge
GoBoat not only required us to design and create a bespoke kiosk, they also required us to organise delivery beside a canal, something that can present significant logistical challenges.
The S Jones Solution
To begin the process, the S Jones conversions team created a series of detailed CAD images, providing a clear representation of how GoBoat’s vision would look in reality. Once this was signed off, GoBoat London promptly ordered the 10ft container complete with a serving hatch, lined out with 12mm MFC, counter top and lights.
To ensure a smooth delivery of the unit beside a canal, we worked closely with one of our hauliers to mitigate any risks and wheel the container into place both on time and in perfect condition. GoBoat then commissioned a street artist to add the final artistic flair to the unit.
