Last summer, S Jones Containers enabled long-standing customer Star Events Ltd to create its “Super Slow-mo Experience” for blue-chip giants, Samsung.
The high-spec technology and viewing platform went on tour at music festivals across the UK, including the coveted British Summer Time at Hyde Park Festival.
The Challenge
At the heart of this fun, innovative project is 2, 40ft high cube S Jones Shipping Containers which housed the Samsung technology and viewing platform.
Thousands of festival attendees were able to stop and capture their “Super Slow-mo Selfies” and share their moment across social media, all through this collaborative exciting project.
Star Events Ltd recognised the benefits for utilising a container for its durability, toughness and flexible interior options; however they wanted to ensure the end product did not resemble a shipping container on its exterior.
The S Jones Solution
As experts in container conversions, S Jones was able to help Star Events Ltd turn their vision into a reality. We achieved this by offering:
- Detailed 3D CAD design modelling – which enabled the customer to visualise a number of complex design elements, including different supplier products in one concise agile model. This allowed collaboration between all parties and helped aid the decision making and building process.
- Expert Knowledge – S Jones offer over 40’ years’ experience in the shipping container industry, the support and advice from their specialist team of customer service staff and design engineers provide confidence to the customer that their solution is in expert hands!
- In-house Proofing and Fabrication – S Jones provide end to end customer journey, from initial concepts through to final design and fabrication. This project was no exception, allowing the S Jones team to further push the boundaries of showcasing their design and fabrication abilities.
