Once delivered, the garden room is ready to use straight away as it’s finished internally to a high standard with lighting, power sockets and fuse board ready for electricity to be connected by a certified installation team.
Will I Need Planning Permission for a Container Garden Room?
Usually there is no need for planning permission for a container garden room from S Jones Containers.
Our steel container garden rooms are classed as outbuildings and stand at 2.5m high when assembled, so they do not need planning permission to be built in your garden as they fall within the height restriction.
You will need to ensure that there is a solid, level base for the garden room before installation and will also need to organise electricity to be connected by a certified installation team.
However, if you would like further advice or guidance on planning permission we would highly recommend speaking to your local council.
